Watering:
Water at least once a week. Water 2 to 3 times weekly for young bamboos and fresh transplants.

Fertilizer:
Use Composted horse manure every other year.

Re-potting:
Repot or transplant it periodically to prevent it from getting root-bound.

Temperature:
It can withstand temperatures as low as 3 degrees Celsius and is well adapted to semi-arid environments, as well as degraded and flooded lands.
